weteyes.com is a static informational website. It has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising and no server-side processing of personal data.
What is stored in your browser
When you choose Accept or Decline in the cookie preferences panel,
weteyes.com writes one item to your browser's localStorage under the
key weteyes_consent_v1. It holds your choice (accept or
decline) and the ISO date of the choice, for example 2025-01-31. This
is not sent anywhere. Both choices store the same data and the site
works the same way either way.
Validation and blocked storage
The site checks the stored value each time. If it is missing, damaged or edited into something unexpected, it is ignored and the panel is shown again. If your browser blocks localStorage, the panel still works for the current page, but the choice cannot be remembered.
Changing your choice
Use the Cookie preferences control in any footer to reopen the panel. Clearing site data in your browser removes the stored choice.
Third parties
Fonts and images are served from the same folder as the pages. No external scripts, trackers or embeds are loaded. Links in the footer are internal.
